Salvia Art Workshop

(Is Love So Small A Pain)

Salvia was an art workshop designed to give survivors space to tell their stories and move towards joy. Through partnering with Four Directions Counseling, utilizing various art forms, and embodiment techniques we were able to create a safe, therapeutic space for participants to work through trauma, let go of that which no longer served them, and build community. This workshop was created in partnership with Abbie Jean Litman and inspired the thematic content of the performance of Is Love So Small A Pain; the workshop participants also made an appearance in the performance as the Chorus - utilizing some of the embodiment movement work learned in our Salvia workshop.

A big thank you to Dr Milspaw & Khadija Salim, MA, LPC, CCTP  (Four Directions Counseling), Abbie Jean Litman, and all of our courageous workshop participants.
